Learn Photography Canada offers convenient, fun and hands-on photography classes in Calgary that cater to beginner and amateur photographers. We believe in an interactive and experiential learning environment and Calgary photography class students will be actively walking around iconic Calgary sites during the course to get real practice by photographing some beautiful locations. Our one-day photography courses are offered at convenient times over one day to let you get back to the things that matter most to you.

Many of our photography classes include both an outdoor and indoor component that may change depending on weather circumstances. Our instructors will make sure that participants stay warm, dry and cozy while covering all the course material.

		Digital I Beginner SLR Photography Course Digital I beginner photography classes explore downtown Calgary in the summer months. Students photograph iconic sites like Stephen Ave, the Calgary Tower and the magnificent Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre. During winter, our Digital I photography course is held at historic Fort Calgary. Students surround themselves with history and take hundreds of pictures inside the glorious museum.

		Digital II Advanced SLR Photography Course The Learn Photography Canada Digital II Advanced Photography course takes place between Eau Claire centre, Chinatown and the Centre Street Bridge. Students are treated to one of the best night time views (and subsequent photograph) of Calgary at the conclusion of the course.

		Composition & Travel Photography Course Learn Photography Canada Composition & Travel Photography course students are lucky enough to join us at historic Heritage Park! This unbelievable attraction is a piece of living history and great for hands-on photography and those wishing to fine-tune their composition or travel pictures! Entry fee to the park is included.

		Portrait Photography Course Learn Photography Canada is proud to use Fort Calgary for our Portrait Photography classes. The historic context creates an excellent atmosphere and backdrop!
